| Breaking News |  | Rondeau Pitches Milwaukee to Shutout Victory Tuesday, September 15th, 1914: In a very impressive mound performance, Pete Rondeau stopped the Indianapolis Indians cold. The 24-year-old Brewers hurler blanked them on 4 hits to post a 2-0 triumph.
This season to date Rondeau has a record of 3 wins and 17 losses with a 4.22 ERA, has appeared in 28 games and struck out 99 in 211 innings. |  | Mud Hens Blank St. Paul, Moffett Winner Monday, September 14th, 1914: In an excellent mound performance, Roger Moffett of the Toledo Mud Hens whitewashed the St. Paul Apostles 3-0 on a 5-hitter.
He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches."
The St. Paul manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Moffett did a good job keeping us guessing."
In all, the Toledo hurler rang up 5 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win.
Up to now Moffett has compiled an ERA of 1.99 with a 17-9 mark over 20 starts. He has 106 strikeouts in 226 innings and has held opponents to a .238 batting average. |  | Perry Sparkles in Shutout Monday, September 14th, 1914: Brewers pitcher Frank Perry did his job today, blanking the Minneapolis Millers at Minneapolis Park. He scattered 3 hits while striking out 2 in the 5-0 shutout.
