Harrison Gives Buffalo Goose Eggs
Monday, June 15th, 1914: Edgar Harrison of Jersey City easily handled the Buffalo Bisons, stopping them on 2 hits and chucking a complete-game 9-0 shutout.

"He really did a job on us," said the Buffalo manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."

He finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in a solid outing.

This year Harrison has made 11 starts, thrown 84 innings, fanned 33 batters and walked 44. His won-lost record is 6-5 with a 3.32 ERA.
